Obesity

The Energy Party tries to fight obesity in childhood as well as possible. In the U.S. we are surrounded by fast-food-chains like Mc Donalds, Burger King etc. It is our concern to protect particulary children from all this pressure and show them the healthier and wiser eating-habits. But in the end it is the parents responsibility. The Energy Party addresses the parents to change their behave with food and health of themselves and their children. Parents should be the model for their children and so they should face their responsibility and should do the first step to a better and healthier future.

BEAR ARMS

We think that people should have the right to bear arms even though we have an advanced military. The people should have the right to bear arms because if they didn't, the wild life population could get way out of hand. Some major businesses and associations would also go down the drain.

We will do this by not passing a law that bans people from having guns and bows. We will be aganst the anti-gun act all the way though. We will be supporting the NRA (National Rifle Association). This can help many hunters and contest shooters around the U.S.A.

ENERGY

Our biggest issue is creating and maintaining use of more environmentally friendly energy sources. We plan to help use geothermal, nuclear, biomass, and tidal energy sources. We think this is important because we will be helping save to environment. This will also help create jobs and use more effective ways to use energy.

We will help this by giving money to the companies. This will be very helpful to create jobs and help get our economy back on track. We will also try to help create companies that the govenment will support. This can be a big step in alternate energy.

Abortion

Our opinion about abortion is that it should be illegal with some exceptions. For example if someone is raped and is impregnated by the rapist you should be able to abort the baby if you so choose. You shouldn't have to give birth to a child if the pregnancy was against your will. Over 56% of people are against Abortion and only 44% are for Abortion. Our party is obviously in the majority. So if you want abortion to come to a stop and for people to consider consequences of being sexually active.
Our party will attempt to pass a bill that bans abortion, except in extreme cases. Such as rape and incest.
